Edge fall to the Titans, 94-86.

Tuesday, January 16, 2018, Kitchener, ON - The St. John's Edge (11-6) kicked off their five-game road trip with a loss to the KW Titans (3-11), 94-86. The Edge could not overcome a nine-point first quarter as the KW Titans maintained the lead throughout the entire game. 

Player Performance 

St. John's Edge:

Charles Hinkle led the Edge with a double-double that included a game high 18 points, adding 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Desmond Lee chipped in with 13 points and 2 rebounds. Newcomer Coron Williams posted 9 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in his first outing as a member of the Edge.

Kitchener Waterloo Titans:

Kevin Rogers also recorded a double-double and led the Titans with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Tramar Sutherland added 14 points for Kitchener Waterloo accompanied by 8 rebounds.

Inside the Numbers: 

St. John's went 7-for-19 (36.8 percent) from the three-point line, the club also scored 44 points from inside the paint. The Titans went 29-for-72 (40.3 percent) from the field goal line and scored 34 points off the bench.
