Edge Topple Titans 120-113

The St. John's Edge (10-5) grabbed the lead early in the first quarter and held on to roll past the Kitchener Waterloo Titans (2-10) 120-113 Friday night at Mile One Centre. The Edge led by as many as 17-points in the fourth quarter and continued to sink baskets late in the game en route to victory.

Player Performance 

St. John's Edge:

Desmond Lee led the way for the Edge with 22 points, adding nine rebounds and one assist. Tyler Haws made 20 points, with two assists and a block. Defensively Jarion Henry and Rashaun Broadus both picked up two steals.

Kitchener Waterloo Titans:

Derek Hall scored a game-high 34 points for the Titans, with 14 rebounds and four assists. Justin Hurtt added 27 points for Kitchener Waterloo accompanied by three rebounds.

Inside the Numbers 

St. John's went 12-for-28 (43 percent) from the three point line, the club also scored 48 points off the bench. The Titans went 44-for-86 (51 percent) from the field goal line and scored 54 points from inside the paint.
