Edge Activate Junior Cadougan from Injured Reserve, Will Dress in Game 3; Glen Davis Out of Lineup for Game 3 Due to Ankle Injury

St. John’s, NL – The St. John’s Edge announced this evening that Junior Cadougan will be activated from the injured reserve and inserted into the lineup for Game 3 of the NBL Canada Finals. The Edge will also be without the services of Glen Davis for Game 3 as Davis will be sidelined with an injury to his ankle suffered in the 4th quarter of Game 2.

Cadougan suffered what was known to be a season-ending injury at the end of the First Round of the playoffs against Sudbury. After about 3 weeks of no activity, Junior participated in a light workout on Friday in Moncton and was evaluated by the training staff on the precautions he would need to take to play.

It has been confirmed by the team that Junior will dress for Game 3 on Monday night at Mile One Centre.

Glen Davis re-aggravated an injury to his ankle on Saturday night in Moncton early in the fourth quarter. Davis required assistance and did not see any action in the final frame of the Edge 107-100 loss to the Magic. Davis will be re-evaluated by the medical staff but is not expected to dress for Game 3.

Game 3 is set for tomorrow night at 7:00 PM at Mile One Centre. The Edge trail the Magic in the series 2 games to 0 and will be looking to turn the tide on their home court. Get your tickets now by visiting the Mile One Centre Box Office, by calling 576-7657, or online at www.mileonecentre.com
