St. John’s, NL – Tyrone Watson a 6’5 225lb Forward from Hamilton, Ontario has signed a 2019-2020 NBLC Player Contract with the St. John’s Edge.  Watson, a 6 year pro, will be entering his fifth season in the NBLC after stops in Orangeville and Halifax.

The 2015 NBLC Canadian of the Year played in 16 games last season for the Halifax Hurricanes before his season was cut short due to injury.  In those 16 games, Watson averaged 9.8ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.8apg while shooting 48.8% from the field.  Watson, has led his team to the NBLC Finals on three separate occasions while in Halifax.
