St. John’s, NL – Jesse Jones, a 6’0” 185lb Guard from Irvington, New Jersey, has signed a NBLC Player Contract with the St. John’s Edge for the 2019-2020 season.

Jones played collegiately at the University of Bridgeport where he averaged 12.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.4apg his senior year while shooting 43.8% from the field and 41.6% from beyond the three-point arc. He will be a rookie this upcoming season.

Jones on joining the Edge; “I came a long way from where I started, I stayed humble, stayed focused and stayed hungry.  I knew God had a plan for me and my path was different but the opportunity is here now and I am truly blessed to play the game I love.  I am so grateful to be a part of this league and cannot wait to help this team win.  I am hungry!”
