Edge conquer Titans 109-99

The St. John's Edge (11-5) continued their dominance at home Saturday night at Mile One Centre as the team posted a 109-99 victory over the Kitchener Waterloo Titans (2-11). With the win the Edge improved their home record to 7-1 in their inaugural season. 

Player Performance 

St. John's Edge:

Charles Hinkle led the way with a game-high 31 points, adding eight rebounds and three assists. Alex Johnson made 18 points, with 12 assists and a rebound. Defensively Jarion Henry and Grandy Glaze both picked up two steals.

Kitchener Waterloo Titans:

Ahmad Starks led the Titans with 23 points, with three rebounds and four assists. Derek Hall added 22 points for Kitchener Waterloo accompanied by 17 rebounds.

Inside the Numbers 

St. John's went 11-for-26 (42 percent) from the three point line, the club also scored 44 points from inside the paint. The Titans went 36-for-86 (45 percent) from the field goal line and scored 21 points off the bench.
