Edge Activate Shaquille Keith from Injured Reserve, Glen Davis Back in Lineup for Game 4

St. John’s, NL The St. John’s Edge announced today that the team has activated Shaquille Keith from the injured reserve and that he will dress for Game 4 of the NBL Canada Finals. The team has also announced that Glen Davis will be back in the Edge lineup for Game 4.

Keith went down with a broken foot in Game 3 of their Round 1 series with the Sudbury Five. Following the injury, Keith went back to Toronto to get treatment and heal the injury. The team was in discussions with Shaquille Keith following discussions between the medical team here in St. John’s and his doctor’s in Toronto.

Following those discussions and an evaluation by the Edge medical team, it was determined that he was going to be cleared to continue playing and that is when the coaching staff made the decision to activate Shaquille and insert him into the lineup for Game 4.

In other news, Glen Davis has been cleared to play in Game 4 and was present for practice today. Davis has been in and out of the lineup throughout the Finals with a concussion and then an ankle injury sustained in Game 2 in Moncton, NB.

The addition of Keith and Davis being cleared to play will be another boost to the Edge lineup for a must-win Game 4 taking place on Thursday night at Mile One Centre.
