St. John’s, NL – Ryan Richardson, a 6’4 195lb Wing from Chandler, Arizona has signed a 2019-2020 NBLC Player Contract with the St. John’s Edge.

Richardson, a second year pro, played last season in Holland after a four-year career at Weber State.  While at Weber State he was named to the Big Sky All-Conference team as a senior and finished his career fifth in school history in career 3-pointers made with 235.  Last season in Holland, Richardson averaged 13.8ppg and 2.5rpg while shooting 38.1% from 3.

Head Coach Steve Marcus on the signing on Ryan Richardson; “Ryan was a guy that we targeted early on because of his shooting ability.  With the roster we are putting together shooting was something we needed, Ryan fills that void for us. He is an unbelievable person off the court as well that fits the culture we are building here in St. John’s.”

Richardson on joining the Edge; “I am extremely excited and blessed to have the opportunity to play for the St. John’s Edge this season and cannot wait to see what the season has in store for us!”
