Edge agree to terms with Desmond Lee and Jarryn Skeete 

St. John's, NL –St. John's Edge Interim General Manager Carl English announced today that the club has re-signed Desmond Lee and Jarryn Skeete to one-year, NBL Canada contracts.

Lee, 6-foot-4, 200 pounds appeared in 49 games for the Edge last season and averaged 10.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 28.8 minutes per game. He shot .462 (139-for-366) from the field, .367 (58-for-158) from three-point range and .726 (127-for-175) at the free throw line. Lee was the named the defensive player of the year by the Edge during the 2017-18 inaugural season.  

Skeete, 6-foot-3, 175 pounds also appeared in 49 for the Edge games last season and averaged 4.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 14.4 minutes per game. He shot .427 (79-for-185) from the field, .406 (43-for-106) from three-point range and .73 (27-for-37) at the free throw line. Skeete was awarded the Fans Choice Award last season.
