Edge SIGN Junior Cadougan

St. John’s, NL – The St. John’s Edge announced today that the club has signed North York, Ontario native Junior Cadougan to a one-year NBL Canada contract.

Cadougan, 6-foot-1, 183 pounds has spent the last two seasons with the London Lightning of the NBL Canada. With his best year coming in 2016-17. During that campaign, in 46 games, Junior averaged 8.02 points, 2.80 rebounds, 4.15 assists, and 25.5 minutes. He shot .435 (121-for-278) from the field, .317 (20-for-63) from three-point range, and .811 (107-for-132) at the free throw line.
Junior played 4 years at Marquette University, leading his team to three Sweet Sixteen appearances, one Elite Eight appearance, and a Big East Title. Upon graduating from Marquette, Cadougan pursued his professional career in Europe, then landed in North America recently with the London Lightning. Junior has also spent over 13 years in the National Program for Canada, most notably being a part of the 2015 Pan Am Games team which captured the Silver medal, the first basketball medal Canada has ever claimed at the Pan Am Games.
