Express Steam by the Edge, 118-102.

The Windsor Express (11-12) used a strong third quarter to steam past the St. John's Edge (15-9) 118-102 Tuesday night at Mile One Centre.

St. John's went on a 9-and-0 run late in the first half to trail by just two points at halftime. However, the Express put up 36 points in the third, to increase their lead to 15 points heading into the final frame en route to victory.

St. John's Edge:

Carl English led the way for the Edge with a game-high 26 points, adding four rebounds and seven assists. Grandy Glaze picked up a double-double as he made 14 points, with eleven rebounds. Charles Hinkle was the Edge's player of the game with 22 points, four rebounds, and three steals.

Windsor Express:

Omar Strong led the Express with 22 points, adding four rebounds and an assist. Logan Stutz added 20 points for Windsor accompanied by five rebounds.

Inside the Numbers 

St. John's went 32-for-75 (42 percent) from the field-goal line, the club also picked up 41 rebounds. The Express went 17-for-35 (49 percent) from the three-point line and scored 40 points inside the paint.
