Edge De-Rail Express 105-103

Carl English came up clutch in the final moments of the game as the St. John's Edge (9-5) defeated the Windsor Express (7-9) 105-103 Wednesday night at Mile One Centre. With the game tied at 100 in the dying moments of the fourth quarter English found open space to nail a 3-pt shot and followed that up with two successful free throws to push the Edge to the win. 

Player Performance 

St. John's Edge:

Carl English led the way for the Edge with 20 points, adding five rebounds and six assists. Desmond Lee and Charles Hinkle both made 16 points, combining for 13 rebounds and three assists. Jarryn Skeete went 4-for-5 from the three point line.

Windsor Express:

Shaquille Keith scored a game-high 23 points for the Express, with five rebounds and three assists. Logan Stutz added 21 points for Windsor accompanied by ten rebounds.

Inside the Numbers 

St. John's scored 27 points off forced turnovers and scored 35 points off the bench. The Express went 19-for-22 (86 percent) from the free throw line and scored 56 points from inside the paint.
