Sunday, December 17, 2017, London, ON – The Edge (8-4) came out of the gate strong but faltered in the third-quarter to drop their final game of 2017 to the London Lightning (3-5), 116-103.

Charles Hinkle's scoring touch cooled off as he finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Hinkle was coming off a 53-point performance versus the Windsor Express. Carl English led the Edge with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in the loss.

Kyle Johnson led the Lightning with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists while going 4-for-14 from three-point range off the bench. Garrett Williamson of the London Lightning put up 22 points in the victory.

The Edge led by 13 points after the first-quarter.

The Edge went 6 for 32 from three-point range (18.8 percent). Carl English led the team going 5-for-12.

The Lightning went 13 for 44 from three-point range (29.5 percent).

The Lightning outscored the Edge by 19 in the third.
