St. John's Edge Bring Holiday Joy to Janeway
St. John’s, NL – On Tuesday, December 11th the St. John’s Edge players, staff, and Buddy The Puffin visited with children and families at the Janeway Children’s Hospital. The team spent the afternoon meeting many families and kids throughout different sections of the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
This annual visit is one that the team looks forward to as they get to put smiles on the faces of the children and families to help boost their spirits for the holiday season. Janeway staff assist in ensuring that the players visit every child that is currently residing at the Janeway, with the help of those staff the team provided each child with an autographed Edge basketball.
Many of the players had smiles on their faces as they took pictures, shook hands, and shared in some fun with the children.
The entire St. John’s Edge organization and Edge Foundation would like to thank the staff, parents, and children at the Janeway for inviting them to visit again this year. We look forward to continuing this annual visit in the future.
