Edge Move Training Camp to Grand Falls

EDGE training camp moves to grand-falls windsor

 

St. John’s, NL – The St. John’s Edge have will be heading to Grand-Falls Windsor for the remainder of their 2018-19 training camp, beginning this Saturday, November 3rd and commencing through November 9th.

The team has spent 5-days in St. John’s with workouts each day at the Powerplex on Crosbie Road. The team now shifts its camp to Exploits Valley High School in Grand-Falls Windsor for the next 6 days.

While in the Town of Grand-Falls Windsor, the team will take part in three community events. The first being held at EVH on Sunday night when they invite members of the Jr. NBA, local youth leagues and local Men’s basketball leagues to view practice from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The other two events will take place during the week, one taking place at Exploits Valley Intermediate and the other taking place at Sprucewood Academy.

The players and staff will be attending a meet and greet at the Grand-Falls Golf Club on Wednesday, Nov. 7th from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Where invited guests will have a chance to interact with the players and staff from the Edge.

On Thursday evening, the Edge will play their Blue vs White Exhibition game at Exploits Valley High. The game is scheduled to begin at around 6:00 pm, tickets for the event were sold through the Town of Grand-Falls Windsor and sold out within 30 minutes of being on sale.
Post-game the Edge will be doing their traditional autograph session as they walk around and greet the fans while signing autographs.

The team will practice one-last-time at Exploits Valley High School on Friday, then making the trip back to St. John’s that afternoon.
