NBL Canada Tentatively Approves Sale of the St. John's Edge to Deacon Sports

The National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) board of directors is pleased to announce that it has agreed to a deal in principle that will see Deacon Sports and Entertainment purchase the rights of the St. John's Edge Basketball Club from Atlantic Sport Enterprises Ltd. This transaction ensures that loyal fans of the St. John's Edge will continue to enjoy the high-level professional basketball that they've grown accustomed to for the last three seasons.

 Planning for NBL Canada’s tenth season continues to take place and further announcements on the season structure will be made at a later date.
